REV. David barrie

Dave has been Senior Minister of Cobbitty Anglican Church since 2014. He and Jo have been married for twenty three years and have four young-adult children. Before entering the ministry, Dave studied physics at UNSW and worked as a laser and optics engineer in the optical fibre industry. He loves tennis and golf, adventurous holidays, Mexican Mondays, family games nights, podcasts that make him think and novels that help him switch off.

EMILY HEATH

Emily is the newest member of the team, joining in 2024 as the Youth and Children’s Minister. She comes with a Primary Teaching degree and experience in parish, schools and parachurch ministry. She's been married to Danny since 2005 and they have 3 beautiful girls. Emily loves watching movies with her kids and going away with her family. She would love to have the chance to be part of a musical again someday.

Cathy Ware

Cathy has been the Parish administrator (part-time) since 2018. She is married to Paul and they have a large family of energetic children and grandchildren. Cathy also works casually as a teacher in local Christian schools. Her passion is hanging out with God’s people and sharing his love through service. Cathy enjoys bushwalking, team sports, gardening, reading, music, craft, spending time with the grandkids and watching a good movie.

REV. COLIN BALE

Colin has joined the Cobbitty community as the Seniors’ Minister at St Paul’s. He is married to Gillian and has three adult children. Colin was an English/History teacher, then an Anglican minister, later Vice-Principal of Moore Theological College and retired in 2021. He loves spending time with Gillian, travel, cycling, theatre, classical music and walking/training their two Australian Shepherds.
