Who we are
Who we are...
St Paul’s is an Anglican Church located in the historic village of Cobbitty, just north of Camden. Founded in 1827, the church has a rich heritage and has played an important role in the history of our nation.
Today we are a friendly, Bible-based community where visitors are always welcome. We worship in a historic building but the church is vibrant and full of life. Over half the congregation has joined us in the last five years, so newcomers will feel right at home.
We are an intergenerational community, made up of people in all stages of life, from pre-schoolers to retirees. Our life together reflects this variety with weekly activities ranging from Junior Jivers Playgroup, to Kids Club, Youth Group, Women’s Book Club, Bible study groups, Men's and Women's ministry groups, prayer meetings and Seniors groups. You are most welcome to join us at any of our activities or services.
Our two Sunday services (9am and 5pm) are different in style but each is focused on Jesus. These services aim to encourage and strengthen us in our faith, through Bible reading, relevant preaching, singing, prayer and Christian fellowship.
